There is much to be thankful for all year long. But there is something special about November, when gratitude takes center stage. Outwardly sharing those things we cherish is an easy way to boost our own spirits as well as everyone else’s. So, in the spirit of sharing gratitude, as Thanksgiving rapidly approaches, below is what the HW Home team is thankful for!
Boulder manager Linda says, “I am thankful for my family. I know that sounds clichéd, but my family went through a lot this year that really tested our strength and we came through stronger and closer for it.”
Spencer is a sales associate at HW Home. This year he is thankful for friendships gained, a home to call his own, and being close to his family.
Cherry Creek manager Michelle is thankful for new baby, Jacob Michael, who she and her husband will welcome to the world this Thanksgiving!
Senior design consultant Bev is also thankful for new additions to her family. Here she is with her new granddaughter, Ella.
Bev has worked for HW Home for 16 years and says she is also grateful for incredible clients and for the privilege of building a career with HW Home.
Landmark store manager Lauren C. sums up her feelings with this lovely quote from Oprah Winfrey, “Be thankful for what you have, and you’ll end up having more.” She explains that she feels thankful each day and especially during this season.
Our marketing coordinator and webmaster, Lucas, is appreciative of the simple things in life!
Beth, a design consultant, is grateful for her parents: “I’ve been blessed with a caring, loving, helpful, and compassionate father and a spunky best friend in my mother. I can’t imagine not having their influence and am so thankful for the standard they’ve set for me.”
This quote from Design consultant Lauren B. says it all:
Raymond, a senior design consultant, is thankful for many things! Among them, “My partner, my family, and my friends.” Raymond has been a valuable HW team member for 15 years.
John, Director of Visual Merchandise, feels grateful that his in-laws treat him as if he’s always been a member of their family. He says, “Thanksgiving time, in particular, is a lot of fun for us because we all love to cook….and we all love to eat. We cherish each holiday we have and have a lot of fun along the way.”
And last, but certainly not least, co-founder and Vice President Jim Hering shares his message of gratitude. “I am thankful for the incredible group of people who work at HW Home. Their dedication to our customer and one another is inspiring. I am proud to work at a company with so many devoted folks.”
